In celebration of the United States Semiquincentennial, BCC’s music committee presents “American Anthem”, inspiring historical speeches and songs celebrating the resilience of this country. This is an opportunity to sing along to songs we all know and hear powerful speeches from the Hand to Mouth Players theatre group. Under the guidance of Creator/Director Paul Sinacore and Music Director Alice Avouris, this amateur volunteer not-for-profit community theatre group offers quality family entertainment to the Hudson Valley region.
This not-to-be-missed event in recognition of America’s 250th birthday will take place at Briarcliff Congregational Church on Saturday, September 19, at 4:00 PM. Join us as Paul and Alice lift up our hearts in song with classics such as “America the Beautiful,” “This Land Is Your Land,” “God Bless America,” among others, and deliver a dramatic reading of the Declaration of Independence. Be prepared to be emotionally moved by the words of our forefathers: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Public tours are scheduled on Saturdays. Please see our church calendar for the next tour.
Space is limited, so signing up in advance is advisable. Contact the church office to reserve your spot. Tours are free and run for approximately an hour; donations to the windows restoration project are always welcome. Church and tours are wheelchair accessible. Please note: no food or drink allowed in the sanctuary.
