Ash Wednesday

February 18 at 7:30pm

You are warmly invited to join us for our Ash Wednesday service as we begin the season of Lent together. This service offers space for reflection, prayer, and hope in the midst of a complicated world.

All are welcome. No church background or affiliation is required to participate.

If you’d like to continue the journey beyond this night, you’re invited to follow our daily Lenten reflections on Instagram or Facebook, or download our daily devotional to use at home. Printed copies of the devotional are available in the sanctuary at BCC during worship on Sunday mornings at 10am.

Come as you are. You do not come alone.

A Lenten Study for a Weary World: The Honest Prayers of Lamentations

Mondays at 10:30am and online at 7pm

We feel it in our bones—the weariness of a world marked by conflict, grief, and uncertainty. This Lent, we will not rush to a premature “Alleluia.” Instead, we will make space for the honest, aching prayers of the Book of Lamentations.

In this four-week study, led by Rev Farnsworth, we will learn that: Faith has room for our grief, anger, and doubt. The most honest prayer is often the most faithful one. True hope is found not by avoiding darkness, but by bringing it to God.

This is more than a Bible study; it is a spiritual practice for difficult times. Whether you are carrying personal sorrow or the weight of the world, you are welcome here. Let us journey together toward an Easter hope that is deep enough for our weariness.

All dates at 10:30-noon in the Eastman Room, or online 7-8:30 pm via Zoom

February 23, March 2, 9, 16

Please register by clicking here and letting Todd know which sessions you intend to participate in. Zoom link will be sent to registered participants.

Join us for the new season; discover the beauty within!
