Worship

Worship of God and shared thanksgiving for all God’s gifts constitutes the principal weekly gathering of BCC. Our practice of worship predictably follows a five-movement pattern:

• Gathering the People,
• Confessing our Faith,
• Sharing God’s Word,
• Responding to God’s Grace,
• Dispersing for Service;

and it reflects the liturgical seasons of the Christian year (Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Easter, Pentecost).  It’s our custom to follow the Revised Common Lectionary, a schedule of Biblical readings which instruct us.

Music  plays a large role in our worship at BCC.  We are blessed to have both choral and instrumental music as part of nearly every service, with special events throughout the year.
