Good News Spreads: A Study in Acts

Pastor Rosborough and in-house historian Joan Austin will team teach a three week Bible Study focused on the Acts of the Apostles, the story of how, where, by whom, when, and to what end the Good News of Jesus’ resurrection and sovereignty spread from Judea “to the ends of the earth.” Our discussions of this important story will be held in the Eastman Room.
Joan will be helping us understand the historical, political, religious and cultural context in which Christianity grew. Bonnie will be introducing us to themes in the book, evident and explored through specific passages.
While we’re hoping people will be able to attend all three conversations, each one is meant to “stand alone,” so come to whichever of the three you can. Refreshments will be served. Please come, and invite someone who might be interested!
